Charles Garcia brings over 25 years of experience and a deep sense of purpose to his Vice President of Advisory Services role. As a former business owner, Charles understands the weight, pride, and complexity of running a company because he’s lived it. That personal journey fuels his passion for supporting business owners who often juggle far more than just their bottom line.
Charles believes that financial advice should be both strategic and a human connection. His ability to guide clients through high-stakes transitions such as business sales, generational planning, or organizational restructuring stems from his own lessons in navigating those waters in large corporations and small businesses. Whether helping a client untangle multiple interrelated entities or coaching a new advisor through their first significant client relationship, Charles leads with empathy, clarity, and respect for the long game.
He’s known for his thoughtful approach, understanding each client’s motivations before offering advice. His clients trust him because of his deep industry knowledge and legal education and because he genuinely listens. He says, “When you’ve built something yourself, you know it’s never just about the numbers.”
In addition to serving clients, Charles is passionate about mentoring the next generation of advisors. He views mentorship as running ultramarathons, not as competition but as a growth journey. His greatest joy is helping someone reach a finish line they once thought was impossible.
Charles holds degrees in Psychology and Military Science from the University of Houston and a Juris Doctorate. He is a member of the I Care San Antonio board of directors and serves as a Sawyer for the veteran-led disaster recovery organization, Team Rubican. Charles is also a certified Ethics Instructor for the CFP Board and serves as Chairman of the Financial Planning Association of San Antonio & South Texas.
Outside the office, Charles can be found leading or teaching Bible studies, supporting nonprofits, or running marathons alongside his wife of nearly thirty years. A devoted husband and father of three, Charles believes legacy is less about wealth and more about living a life of integrity—one that honors God, uplifts others, and leaves no doubt that he gave his best.
