David K. Alvarez

David Alvarez is a financial industry leader in Central Texas. Working with thousands of families and hundreds of businesses, nonprofits, and endowments across the country, he has managed over a billion dollars in assets over his 18-year career.

A well-respected businessman who is continually developing new ways to support people with his financial expertise, David developed a niche advising parents with special needs children. He has also shown initiative in providing financial guidance to retired veterans and their families. As a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, David can help any individual or family navigating the complexities of wealth management experience with confidence and peace.

Much of David’s work focuses on helping families who are facing some of life’s most challenging financial decisions: Planning for the pivot into retirement, funding the ever-increasing cost of healthcare and college education, and advising transitioning business owners in a way that supports family communication, as well as wealth and legacy planning, to name a few.

David is an active and dedicated member of the San Antonio community and has raised over $1.5 million by chairing nonprofit events that he is passionate about, including the Blood and Tissue Center Foundation and the Gus Owen Stephens Foundation.

David is married to his incredible, entrepreneurial wife, Meredith, and enjoys raising his two boys in the same city that raised him.
