Joshua Young

Josh serves as the Director of Investment Operations at PAX Financial Group, where he works alongside advisors and firm leadership to oversee portfolio construction, trading operations, and investment implementation. He plays an integral role in helping ensure the firm’s investment strategies are executed consistently while supporting the long-term goals of clients and the organization.

Josh brings a strong institutional investment background to PAX. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of New Hampshire before completing a Master of Science in Investment Management from Boston University. He began his career in Boston working on the institutional side of the investment industry, where he developed expertise in portfolio management, investment research, and trading. Today, Josh leads the firm’s investment oversight process, helping evaluate investment managers, strengthen due diligence, and ensure PAX’s investment strategies remain disciplined and responsive to changing market conditions. He is both a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® (CAIA®), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and sound investment stewardship.

Growing up on a family dairy farm in Vermont taught Josh the value of hard work, discipline, and personal responsibility from an early age. Those lessons continue to influence the way he approaches both his work and his relationships. He enjoys collaborating with teammates to solve complex challenges and believes the best decisions are made through thoughtful analysis, open communication, and a shared commitment to doing what is best for clients.

Outside of work, Josh spends much of his time with his wife and their two sons. Whether he’s golfing, reading history, or enjoying the outdoors, his greatest priorities remain the same: his faith, his family, and leaving a legacy of hard work and integrity for the next generation.
